Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) Program (EXTENDED DEADLINE) Applicants must be English language teachers and must be able to demonstrate a commitment to language teaching upon return to Indonesia following the award.

The program is for one academic year (9 months) and requires the grantee to teach Indonesian language and culture in the U.S. for 20 hours per week, and to enroll in at least two U.S. Studies and / or ESL (English as a Second Language) methodology classes per semester.

 Applicants should be no older than 29 years of age by October 1, 2015 and should possess:
 1. a Bachelor’s (S1) degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (scale 4.00) from ALL fields of study (not just English or Education). Master’s degree (S2) graduates are also welcomed to apply.
2. a minimum ITP TOEFL score of 550 or IBT TOEFL score of 79/80 or IELTS score of 6.5. In this case, TOEFL-Like or TOEFL prediction may be considered.
3. a minimum of one year English teaching experience
 4. a teaching position in a university, high school, corporate or other private institution (private course or home school is not eligible)
5. leadership qualities (including community involvement, social activities and/or extra-curricular activities)
 6. a good understanding of Indonesian and international cultures
7. a demonstrated commitment to the English Language Teaching
8. a willingness to return to their home institution and maintain the English teaching profession upon completion of the Fulbright program

This includes clearly written and concise one page objectives.
Photocopy of your most recent, less than two year old, ITP TOEFL or IBT TOEFL or IELTS or TOEFL-Like score report.
Two letters of reference, one from your previous lecturer/professor and the other one MUST be from your current employer/work supervisor.
 Certified photocopy of academic transcript including English translation.
 Certified photocopy of academic diploma including English translation.
Photocopy of identity document (National ID or passport).
